Zhong Shan Animal Hospital

During my gap year from 2022-23, I moved to Taiwan and interned at the Zhong Shan Animal Hospital in Yonghe. I've always loved animals and this internship allowed me to explore this passion. I had many struggles during this internship because I did not speak Chinese and did not have any veterinary experience. However, by the end of the year, I was fluent in Chinese and became a full time nurse intern. I worked from 9-5 every weekday and learned how to draw blood, assist in surgery, do IV drips, and ultrasound.
